Clove was founded to create a modern shoe for people on the front lines of healthcare.
Clove's founder, Joe Ammon was at his wife Tamara’s side while she went through nursing school, calmed the jitters she felt before her first clinical, celebrated when she landed her first job, and held her when she lost her first patient. Joe saw first-hand how taxing—both physically and mentally—healthcare can be.
That's Why He Founded Clove to support those that have dedicated their lives to caring for others. Like most nurses, Tamara has spent hours searching for the perfect shoe; she’s invested hundreds of dollars in products made for ultra-marathoners and Danish farmers and tried to retrofit them to her needs.
To build Clove, Joe and the Clove team collaborated with a network of healthcare professionals and innovative designers to create a stylish, thoughtfully-designed sneaker that puts the needs of those on the front lines of healthcare first.

Easy to Clean
With fluid-repellant uppers and laces, Cloves can be cleaned with the same wipes you use on the job.
Slip On In Seconds
Every moment counts when you’re on the floor or starting a shift. Cloves are easy to slip on, but sturdy enough to run in when you need to.
Chances are you’re stepping in all kinds of fluids as you respond to rapids, handle emergencies, and make your rounds. Cloves feature a full rubber sole to keep you steady when you’re on the move.
Cloves feature high-performance Ortholite™ inserts made to fight odor and bacteria. When it’s time for a re-set, just throw them in the wash—they’ll bounce right back.
Cloves are made of Clarino™, a fabric that is liquid-repellant, stain resistant, abrasion resistant, and (most importantly) easy to clean! Clarino™ is an advanced fabric that has the same microstructure as genuine leather, but is animal free.
We also incorporated a neoprene sock that allows easy slip-on and slip-off, with a liquid-repellant top layer and perforations for breathability.

Our shoes are designed for a standard fit. We recommend that you size up by .5 of your standard size if you typically wear wide width shoes.
We think that one of the best parts of our shoes is how easy they are to clean! Simply wipe shoes with a damp cloth or wet wipe to remove dirt and stains. We recommend that you periodically remove your insoles and machine wash, cold to keep things extra fresh.

To keep your socks looking and smelling fresh, machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach, do not iron and do not tumble dry.
We ship anywhere in the continental U.S. and Alaska/Hawaii.
Clove offers free standard shipping!
Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
Orders will ship from our warehouse in Pennsylvania within 1-2 business days. With standard ground shipping, you order will arrive within 3-5 business days after you receive your shipping confirmation email.
Returns and Exchanges
For exchanges for size, start by visiting our Returns Center. You will be able to choose your exchange online which will be shipped as soon as you drop off your item in the mail. For exchanges for color, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once your return items have been dropped off in the mail, your exchange order will be placed and you will receive an email confirmation. If your exchange item goes out of stock before your original order is scanned via the carrier, your original order will be refunded. Exchanged items are processed once the returning items are received—not any time beforehand.
Start by visiting our Returns Center. You can print a shipping label and drop off or schedule a pickup with the carrier listed on the label. You will receive an email when your return is received and your refund has been processed. We charge a $5 restocking fee for returns.
Once your items have been dropped off in the mail, and reviewed by our team your refund will be initiated immediatley. Please include the orginal packaging. Please allow 3-5 business days for your refund to be processed by your bank.
