Clove was founded to create a modern shoe for people on the front lines of healthcare.
Clove's founder, Joe Ammon was at his wife Tamara’s side while she went through nursing school, calmed the jitters she felt before her first clinical, celebrated when she landed her first job, and held her when she lost her first patient. Joe saw first-hand how taxing—both physically and mentally—healthcare can be.
That's why he founded Clove to support those that have dedicated their lives to caring for others. Like most nurses, Tamara has spent hours searching for the perfect shoe; she’s invested hundreds of dollars in products made for ultra-marathoners and Danish farmers and tried to retrofit them to her needs.
To build Clove, Joe and the Clove team collaborated with a network of healthcare professionals and innovative designers to create a stylish, thoughtfully-designed sneaker that puts the needs of those on the front lines of healthcare first.

The Clove Shoe Collection
The Clove Shoe collection is designed to bring comfort, durability, and easy-to-clean support to healthcare workers. Built with Clarino™, the Clove Shoe is liquid-repellant, stain-resistant, and squeak-free! Plus, Clarino™ is an advanced vegan fabric that has the same microstructure as genuine leather.
The Aeros Collection
The Aeros collection is breathable, heat-regulating, and the lightest sneaker made for healthcare. Designed with our innovative CloveTech™ mesh fabric, the Aeros shoe supports you with flexible material for agility while still protecting your feet with easy-to-clean comfort.
Both collections incorporate a neoprene ankle collar that allows for easy slip-on and slip-off, with a liquid-repellent top layer and microscopic perforations for breathability.
Our ombre and tie-dye styles are made of a blend of cotton (42%), elastic (42%), spandex (14%), and polyester (2%). Our other styles are made of a breathable and lightweight blend of spandex (80%) and nylon (20%).
All of our socks are sweat-wicking and breathable, and provide 20-30 mmHG of compression to keep your blood flowing!

Clove shoes are designed with the needs of healthcare workers in mind. However, they are well suited for anyone who wants a sneaker that's incredibly comfortable and easy to clean!
The Clove Shoe Collection
Our shoes run true to size, so you should fit into your regular size comfortably! If you typically wear a wide-width shoe, we suggest going up by a half size. This should give you a bit more wiggle room without making your shoes too long!
These shoes are made of Clarino™, which is a microfiber fabric that mimics real leather. As such, they'll stretch slightly over time and mold to your feet for increased comfort.
The Aeros Collection
We recommend sizing up a half size from your regular fit for the Aeros collection. If you typically wear wide-width shoes, we recommend going up a full size.
This style fits true to size. If you typically wear wide width shoes, we recommend going up a half a size in this style.
Our compression socks sizes range from small to large. If you’re in between two sizes, we recommend going with the size based on your calf circumference for a better fit.
Fulfillment & Shipping
Clove ships within the continental U.S., as well as to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO / FPO addresses.
Once your order is placed, your items will be reserved in our system!
Your order will go through two phases prior to delivery: (1) warehouse order fulfillment, and (2) package shipment.
If your shoes are in stock, your order will be fulfilled within the timeframe indicated on the product page. If your shoes are on pre-order, your order will be fulfilled by the date indicated on our product page.
Standard U.S. shipping is expected to deliver within 5-7 business days from the time that the carrier picks up your order. Standard shipping to Canada is expected to arrive within 8-14 business days from the time the carrier picks up your order.
With our “2 Business Day” shipping option, your package will arrive within 2 business days from the time that the carrier picks up your order. With our “1 Business Day” shipping option, your package will arrive within 1 business day from the time that the carrier picks up your order.
When calculating delivery timeframes, please note that business days do not include weekends or holidays.
Please be aware that the purchase of expedited shipping does not expedite the fulfillment of your order – standard fulfillment timeframes still apply.
Clove offers free standard shipping! The cost of expedited shipping is based on the order shipping address and calculated at checkout. Please be aware that we cannot update or refund your UPS shipping method after checkout.
Shipping costs are based on shipping address, and the price is calculated at checkout. The cost of shipping is non-refundable, even if you return your order.
When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you click on the “View your order” button, you will be redirected to a webpage with tracking information! Once your order ships, you will receive a separate shipping confirmation email.

Our warehouse team works diligently to fulfill orders as quickly as possible! As such, we are unable to honor order changes or cancellations once they have been placed.

Returns and Exchanges
Shoes in new condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. We partner with Happy Returns to make your returns and exchanges easy!
For exchanges, we will cover the cost of return shipping, as well as shipping on your new order.
For returns, we cover the up-front cost of return shipping, but we do charge a $10 restocking fee, which is deducted from your refund.
Please be aware that any shipping costs associated with your original order are non-refundable, regardless of whether you are returning or exchanging your items.

Rates for taxes and duties are set by the Canadian government and are based on the value of the goods and the country of manufacture. All duties and taxes for Canadian orders are charged at checkout.
How to get your Duties & GST/PST refunded
As a Canadian customer, you are eligible to reclaim the Canadian import duties and sales tax (GST/PST) for your return through Canada's Casual Refund Program.
To start this process, please download a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) form and follow the instructions. In order to successfully complete the form, you will need two pieces of supporting documentation to receive a refund from CBSA:
1. Your order refund confirmation email from Clove
2. The import details report, which indicates the value of the duties/taxes that were paid. To obtain this, please email our international shipping carrier, Passport, at email@example.com with your Passport tracking number in the subject line. They will reply with the necessary documentation attached.

Once the return is scanned into our system, your refund will be processed. If you choose to return your shoes using a Happy Returns return bar, your refund will be issued at that time.
Please allow 7-10 business days for your refund to be processed by your financial institution. Reimbursement of funds will be allocated back to the original form of payment used for purchase.

Being a healthcare professional is stressful enough - the last thing you need to worry about is making sure your shoes fit. That’s why Clove has a Fit Guarantee.

These shoes aren’t afraid of a little fluid. Or a lot. When you’re on the go, you can wipe them down quickly with a damp cloth or wet wipe and move on to patient care.
Ready for a deeper clean? Follow our instructions below:
1. Loosen surface dirt using a wet cloth or old toothbrush.
2. Mix up a warm water and liquid hand soap solution.
3. Using an old cloth or toothbrush, apply the soapy mix to the outside and soles of your sneakers.
4. Brush or wipe away dirt and gross stuff.
5. Air dry the shoes for an hour or until completely dry.
Don’t forget to remove your Ortholite insoles and machine wash on cold to keep your feet fresh!
To keep your socks looking and smelling fresh, machine wash on cold with like colors. Do not bleach, do not iron, and do not tumble dry.
